Elmore County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - As of 7 a.m. on Sunday, here is the latest information on the Elk Complex Fire burning in Elmore County.

Incident Resources: 696 personnel including: 9 hand crews, 42 engines, 15 water tenders, 4 dozers, and 6 helicopters

Residents only will be allowed to return to the Pine/Featherville corridor at 5:00 pm Sunday August 18.
Idaho Power will be restoring power in the entire Pine/Featherville corridor at 12:00 noon.
A Fuel and Fire Behavior Advisory remains in effect throughout southwest Idaho. All fuels are abnormally dry and susceptible to ignition.
East flank of the fire: Throughout the Pine-Featherville corridor firefighters will continue mop-up for a distance of 200-300 feet from the control lines. Crews will begin pulling equipment out of the Pine/Featherville area.
West flank of the fire: Firefighters will continue burn-out operations on Lava Ridge up to the 2012 Trinity Fire scar. Crews will continue to patrol and mopup. Rehab will continue in areas where possible.
The weather continues to be hot, dry, and windy. Temperatures will range from 88 to 92, with minimum relative humidity at 10-14 percent. Winds will be from the northwest at 15-20mph.
Evacuations and Road Closures:
Evacuations issued by the Elmore County Sheriff’s office remain in effect for the communities of Pine and Featherville through 5:00 pm Sunday August 18.
Road closures are still in effect for the general public for the Pine/Featherville Road, Cow Creek Road and Blacks Creek Road.
