Suzanne Hawkins Re-Elected To City Council

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Despite being the only Twin Falls City Council member facing opposition, Suzanne Hawkins won her race convincingly.

Hawkins holds the position of seat one and won the race with 67% of the vote.

She told Idaho's First News she spent a lot of time campaigning, knocking on doors and had a solid support system. She looks forward to the future with the group that she's very familiar with.

"I think we have a really good group that works well together, even though we don't always agree on issues. We have a good ability to discuss things and come up with solutions and answers that are good for the community as a whole," explains Hawkins.

Meanwhile, Hawkins expected there to be a low turnout, but not as low as what the final numbers revealed.
