Verdict Reached In Trial Of Man Accused Of Shooting His Brother

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A Twin Falls man accused of shooting his brother is guilty.

Juan Jimenez was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm charges.

On February 9th Jimenez shot Jorge Alvarado outside a home in the 100 block of Tyler Street.

Friday night he was found guilty on all charges against him and his bond was revoked.

That's according to Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs.

His sentencing date has been postponed because he faces a laundry list of other charges in un–related cases.

He is also facing several aggravated assault charges and an unlawful weapon possession charge stemming from an incident earlier this week.

His preliminary hearing is set for September 30th at 1:15 p.m. on those charges.
