Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce is hoping to make key issues in the city heard this upcoming year.

The Chamber's Public Policy Committee met to discuss legislative issues relevant to the business community.

Topics of discussion included education funding, personal property tax, and Medicare expansion.

These will be heard by the legislature during their 2014 session.

“We invite our members to come in and talk about the issues that are important to them: their business, their families, the quality of life in Twin Falls. We use those issues as a way to formulate a policy statement, and we use that to guide our efforts in the upcoming legislative session,” explained Kyle Tarbet, from the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce.

Meetings will be held each Friday from 7 to 8 in the morning at the Chamber office.
