Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Twin Falls Sheriff’s office has cited a Buhl man for Animal Neglect. An investigation began July 19, when an unknown paint horse, hobbled and severely malnourished, was found in a pasture in Buhl. Police say they have cited David Gonzalez, 52 with two counts of animal neglect and one count of obstructing an officer. Authorities say on July 26, a hobbled and bleeding donkey was located in the same pasture in which Gonzalez apparently had permission to keep livestock. He was charged with neglect for both animals. The 2 year old paint stud colt, who is working his way back to good health, will be auctioned at the Twin Falls, Livestock Commission on Friday, August 30.
