Twin Falls To Hold Forum On Bike Routes And Connectivity

By Brittany Cooper

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Are you interested in bike trails and pedestrian routes in the city of Twin Falls?

Coming up this week, the city is holding a public forum to discuss these topics.

During the strategic planning process, the public noted they wanted different ways to commute to work and other areas of interest.

Now you have your chance to speak up about what you want to see in terms of connectivity.

"We know there are avid cyclists out there and we want them to come, but we also want people who are recreational cyclists and maybe they didn't feel comfortable cycling in the city of Twin Falls and come to tell us what their concerns are and what their interests are. Are they recreational cyclists, go from work to home, or do they want to go on long bike rides and cut through town, go to the South Hills, things like that. All the information they can provide to us with help us better plan this out for the near future," explains Josh Palmer, City of Twin Falls Spokesman.

You can catch the public forum on Wednesday, November 6th starting at 7 p.m. in the city council chambers.
