Undocumented Residents Line Up At Nevada DMVs To Get New Driver Authorization Card

By KMVT News

Reno, Nevada (CNN) One of Nevada’s new laws for 2014 involves driving privileges for undocumented residents.

And those applying kept DMV offices across the state pretty busy on Thursday.

The last session of the state legislature estimated about 60-thousand undocumented residents were waiting for a chance to drive legally in the state.

While most of those are thought to be in Las Vegas, the DMV offices in northern Nevada were busy, as well.

Erin Breen reports.
