Weather Helps Crews Fighting Blaze Near Stanley

Stanley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Weather conditions are helping crews battle the Gold Wildfire near Stanley.

Crews have put a line around the perimeter of the fire, and today they are working to make sure all hotspots are put out.

The fire scorched around 80 acres since it was first reported Tuesday afternoon.

The 210 Road, also know as Decker Flat, in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area is still closed at this time.

Crews expect the fire to be contained by Friday evening and controlled by Monday evening.
