UPDATE: Man Dies Following Early Morning Stabbing
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A Twin Falls man is dead following an early morning stabbing.
Authorities have not revealed exactly what led up to the deadly stabbing, but this is what we do know.
Just before 1 a.m. Twin Falls police were called out to the Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center at 330 Canyon Crest Drive.
That's where they found 23–year old Jerimiah D. Paiz of Twin Falls dead.
Police later arrested 21–year old Cayde Lish, also of Twin Falls, and charged him with voluntary manslaughter.
According to Idaho Supreme Court Data, Lish has a long, and often violent, criminal history that dates back to 2009.
In September of that year he was found guilty of assault or battery upon certain personnel and resisting arrest in Arco, Idaho.
Then, in September of 2010 in Arco he was found guilty on exhibition or use of a deadly weapon.
He had another resisting or obstructing officers in Lincoln County, but that was dismissed in February of this year.
Most recently his troubles led him to Twin Falls where he was found guilty of driving under the influence for the second time.
KMVT spoke with Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs Saturday.
He says the investigation is ongoing.
We will bring you the latest on this case as the information becomes available.
