Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) One of Idaho's oldest county fairs kicked off this afternoon over in Burley marking year number 102 for the Cassia County Fair.

To help celebrate over a century of family fun, officials say this could be one of the best fairs yet.

And starting today everything got underway with the start of 4–H judging in a handful of categories.

And with this year marking the 100th anniversary of 4–H in Idaho, this year’s fair is all about the young farmers and ranchers from in and around the Cassia County Area.

“This year we got all sorts of stuff going on. Today were just getting started with the 4-H horse show, which is in the arena all day today. The kids, they do a marvelous job down here in our county and we try to get a little bigger, a little better. A few new exhibits and a few new food booths and stuff.” - Said Bryce Beck from the Cassia County Fair.

The fair will continue all this week with the final night coming this Saturday.

On Tuesday a concert will be held with the talents of singer David Nail over at the main arena.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the annual P.R.C.A. Rodeo will kick off.

And on Wednesday the Annual parade will make its way through Burley starting at 10–thirty in the morning.

Tickets for all of these events are still on sale at the fair office.
