The parade kicked off this afternoon around noon with vibrant dancers from around the region.
From the Utah Hispanic Dance Alliance to the Basque dancers from Boise – beautiful costumes and music took over Main Street in Ketchum. After a short break from the dancing —– the crowd patiently waited for the historic event. The sheep came running down the street during the 100 year old event. The Peruvian sheepherders carefully made sure the sheep would not run into the crowds. This family is one of four remaining families that still move the sheep throughout the valley.
