Students at Twin Falls High School were evacuated this afternoon following a bomb threat that was called into their school. Officials received the call just before noon, with an automated recording stating that a bomb had been placed in one of the buildings and would go off within a two hour period.

Students were then evacuated to the football while a search was performed by the Twin Falls Police Department and Twin Falls School District. Officials say bomb threats are always an inconvenience but it's important to take them seriously.

School Superintendent Wiley Dobbs says, "Learning time is lost, it's a huge inconvenience and there are safety issues involved in just evacuating these kids so we take these things seriously."

Twin Falls Police are currently following up on a number of leads. The incident is still under investigation
