Justin Lyle Izatt sentenced to life in prison
TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT-TV) A 34 year old Twin Falls man will spend the rest of his life in prison. Justin Lyle Izatt was sentenced Monday for possession and the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Izatt was convicted by a federal judge in Boise on December 16, 2010. During the trial jury members heard evidence of 125 grams of meth found hidden in a secret compartment in his garage and unexplained wealth with no legitimate income.
According to federal law the judge was required to impose a mandatory minimum sentence of life without the possibility of parole. This because of 2 previous convictions of possession with the intent to deliver meth. Izatt has also been convicted of 48 other offenses in Idaho including kidnapping and weapons charges.
