The sound is loud, the look is amazing and the feeling after watching the blue angels fly through the sky is a never ending thrill.

Wednesday, Blue Angel pilots spent some time at the Magic Valley Regional Airport and with air show officials discussing details for the upcoming air show this summer.

Navy Lt. Frank Weisser "There is a lot of preparations that need to take place and we're going to tell them exactly what we need from our end to put on a safe and successful air show."

Bill Carberry is thrilled for the Magic Valley to have this live opportunity. He says the air show committee applied to the department of defense and luckily Twin Falls was chosen for one of 35 shows across the country.

Carberry said, "It really brings out the kid in everybody to have the Blue Angels here today and we're very excited about having them this summer."

Weisser says that the Blue Angels bring pride and professionalism wherever they go so they can best represent the navy.

Weisser also says, "It's always awesome to come to Idaho and Twin Falls makes an awesome backdrop for an air show but we try to go all around the country because our mission is to recruit and enhance the image of the Navy and there are places like Twin Falls, Idaho that doesn't have a huge naval presence."

The air show is scheduled for July 26th and 27th. Tickets for the show should become available in the upcoming weeks.
