Two people injured when Tahoe collides head on with semi truck
TWIN FALLS, IDAHO (KMVT-TV) Two people were injured when a Tahoe collided head on with a semi truck Sunday evening. Idaho State police say the accident happened on State Highway 50 near 3900 North in Twin Falls County at about 6:22 pm. The Tahoe was traveling south on State Highway 50 when Abel Arteaga, 46, of Rupert, was attempting to turn north on State Highway 50 off of 3900 North in a 2005 Volvo semi. Police say he failed to yield. The vehicles collided head on. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts and were treated and released at the scene for minor injuries. Both lanes of State Highway 50 were blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
