Her presentation is still being scheduled. Asbury will use the grant to purchase 24 Chester Creek Lesson Board Pro keyboards for use in her computer lab. Asbury elaborated, "There seems to be a disconnect between students leaving their Introduction to Keyboarding class and entering my Business Computer Applications I class. The students are coming into class without the proper skills to touch type. If my students are not able to type with speed and accuracy, they tend to have a difficult time being successful in my class and all of their other classes as well. Typing is a life-long skill."
