Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Saturday, August 18, 2012 is the day for the 14th Annual Joe Mama’s Jerome Car Show. The event will take place in the Jerome North and South City Parks.

This show is the largest event in the history of Jerome County and is the largest one-day car event in the State of Idaho. 2011 brought nearly 16,000 spectators and 708 show car entries from 12 states.

The Joe Mama’s event is the largest one-day car show in Idaho and possibly the entire Northwest. Recognized for its relaxed, friendly and lively attitude, the show features many cars worth well over $100,000 in value, the firing up of a 300 MPH race car, a beautiful show queen, and a live band.

Also scheduled to appear is Ron “The Sticther” Mangus, a nationally known “car” personality, and a well known auto builder who has built hot rods for the likes of Boyd Coddington, ZZ Top, and stitched the interior in America’s Most Beautiful Roadster.

“Every year the show is bigger and more exciting, “said Orlan Stearns from Magic Valley Early Iron Car Club, who have taken the reins from Show Founder and Director Joe Skaug. “We have over 16,000 spectators, Race Cars and Show Cars, and you won’t want to miss this very fun, community event.”
