Fire Destroys Trailer, Shuts Down Freeway Traffic In Elmore County
Mountain Home, Idaho (KMVT-TV) What started as a fire in the wheel well area of a trailer, quickly engulfed the unit and shut down I-84 westbound traffic 3 and a half miles east of the Ada/Elmore county line. Idaho State Police said the fire shortly before 9pm last night, happened at milepost 76. Enayat Sarang, 51, of Coluitlam, British Columbia Canada was driving down the freeway when he noticed the smoke and flames. Westbound traffic was blocked for several hours and smoke could be seen for several miles. There were not any reports of injuries.
