ISP To Hire 20 New Troopers
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Idaho state police is planning to hire approximately 20 new troopers to begin training in August. This is the second trooper announcement for 2012. ISP is accepting applications through Thursday. Previous law enforcement experience is not required. The training process on average takes about nine months to complete, which includes a 10-week post academy in addition to a 14-week ISP advanced training.
