Paving project beginning in eastern Lincoln County
Shoshone, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - A roadway resurfacing project on Idaho 24 in eastern Lincoln County is expected to begin next week according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
Crews will fill ruts in the road with a scrub coat, followed by an asphalt overlay between the Minidoka County line and near Sids Road, a distance of about 12.5 miles. Work is expected to begin Monday Aug. 27 and extend about three weeks. The project will seal roadway cracking and restore roadway smoothness. When crews are present, the road will be reduced to one lane. A pilot car will be in operation and drivers should watch for flaggers throughout the construction zone. Comments ( |
