KMVT News has learned that Twin Falls YMCA Director Karen Jachimowski has resigned her position.

She drew much attention last year when a number of key YMCA employees quit over disagreements with her management style.

Complaints about her also drew the attention of the twin fall city council which has a contract with the Y to manage the municipal swimming pool.

YMCA Board President Mike Creece says Jachimowski will stay on board until March 28th to work with newly hired interim director Chris Talkington, who is a former Twin Falls City Council member and director of the Snake River Juvenile Detention Facility.
