Man Wanted For A Burley Motel Murder

Burley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The investigation into the death of a man found in the crawl space of a Burley motel has police now believing it was a homicide. Cassia county sheriff Randy Kidd said today that they have issued a warrant for 53 year old James Duane Ambrose who is now wanted for first degree murder with a weapons enhancement. The body of Russ Taft 56, was found on May 18, 2012. An autopsy revealed that Taft died from blunt force trauma to the head and a stab wound to the heart. Authorities say that Ambrose was last seen in Las Vegas Nevada around May 7, 2012. Ambrose has a current Cassia County warrant for his arrest for Grand Theft. Ambrose has multiple warrants for his arrest in Las Vegas for Kidnapping, Robbery, Burglary, Battery and Grand Larceny. The judge has determined that the latest murder warrant will not be eligible for a bond. Police say that if you have any information as to the location of Mr. Ambrose, contact Lt.
