Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) A Twin Falls man was injured in a home invasion that happened over the past weekend. Police in Twin Falls say they responded to a home in the 1000 block of Caswell Avenue West on September 7, at about 2:44am. There, they found resident Jack Costanzo who had sustained head injuries. Costanzo told police that he was sleeping when he heard his door being kicked in. He jumped up and began to defend himself. In the fight, Costanzo said he was struck in the head with some sort of object. The resident of the home said he was able to fight back, striking the intruder several times. Eventually the man who broke into the home ran at which time, Costanzo went to a neighbor to summon police. Costanzo said he initially saw two individuals but said one ran out the door when the fight began. When officers arrived on the scene, they found 20 year old Donavan Jones laying in a nearby driveway. Both Costanzo and Jones were transported to St. Luke’s for treatment. Police say Jones faces charges of Aggravated Battery and Burglary. He was arrested but later released from jail, authorities say. Jones is from the Phoenix area.
