Twin Falls City Council Approve Construction Of New Section For Snake River Trail
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Monday, the Twin Falls City Council approved two separate requests that will help go a long way in easing some growing pains. First the council unanimously approved a request to award a final bid in the amount of $47,488 to stutzmen incorporated, to build another section of the Snake River trail.
This section will be located at the new Quail Ridge subdivision which sits directly south of Deirkies Lake, along the Canyon Rim. The trail will coincide with all of the dimensions from the current tails and construction should start sometime this fall. Also the council approved a request to give the go ahead on the 2013 capital water facility plan. The last time the city updated the water plan was back in 2009. Since then Twin Falls has seen a massive increase in residential and industrial growth and are now looking to update that plan again. The water plan will help the city to better understand water need in and around the city and will also help to outline what is needed for future growth. Comments ( |
