Fire Restrictions Lifted For Sawtooth National Forest Area Lands

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Stage 1 Fire restrictions are being lifted for the Sawtooth National Forest on Friday, October 5, 2012. Officials say this will include all lands in South Central Idaho currently under those restrictions. Forest officials say that while restrictions are being lifted, they are asking the public to be vigilant to ensure their campfires are dead out, when leaving a camp site. Conditions are still very dry.
