Belly Dump Truck Loses Load Of Gravel On Freeway
Hazelton, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Idaho Transportation Crews are working to clean up a large gravel spill on I-84 this morning. The incident near Hazelton in Jerome County, mile marker 196 was reported around 7:40am today. According to SIRCOM in Jerome, westbound traffic has been reduced to one lane of travel at the 196. At this time, police continue to search for the belly dump truck that lost its load of gravel. The loose gravel caused one motorist to drive into the median but authorities say no one was injured. ITD will be working to clean the roadway, hoping to have it cleared sometime this morning.
