Early Morning Fire In Jerome Destroys Motor Home And Van

Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Jerome Firefighters responded to a report of a motor home on fire early this morning. According to Jerome city assistant fire Chief Jack Krill, the fire was in the front of 522 5th Avenue West at 5:30 AM Friday morning. The fire destroyed a 1975 Dodge motor home along with a 1977 Dodge Van that was parked next to it. Fire officials say one person was sleeping in the motor home at the time of the fire and escaped without injury. At this time it’s not known what caused the fire and remains under investigation.
