Boise, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Guilty of 2nd degree murder. That’s the verdict from a district courtroom in Boise just before noon today in the trial of 43 year old Rob Hall who was charged with shooting and killing 30 year old attorney Emmett Corrigan. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a Meridian Walgreen Drug Store in March of 2011. According to police reports, Hall became angry after learning his wife had met with Corrigan at the store and then drove to the Walgreens to meet both Corrigan and his wife. Police say that’s when he shot and killed Corrigan after the two had an argument. Hall’s wife Kandi was the only witness to the shooting police say. Hall is a former Ada County Sheriff’s Office employee who worked in Tech Support. The case now moves to the sentencing phase.
