Highland Avenue To Be Reduced To One-Way Traffic
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - Contractors expect to begin work Monday, Nov. 19th on the Kimberly/Highland Water Project on Highland Avenue East between Locust Street and Eastland Drive in Twin Falls.
The Kimberly/Highland Water Project includes the installation of an 18” water line on Highland Avenue and Eastland
Drive, which will increase water capacity in southeast Twin Falls for residential and industrial users. The City of Twin
Falls has awarded the contract to Sawtooth Construction.
Highland Avenue from Locust Street to Eastland Drive will be reduced to a one way road that will only allow westbound traffic. Detour signs will be in place to guide traffic around the work site. The installation of the waterline is expected to be completed on Highland Avenue and Eastland Drive by mid-January.
Due to cold weather, temporary paving will be provided until weather warms and final paving can be placed in the Spring.
