The ever increasing price of gasoline is continuing to drive up costs for pretty much everyone.

About four years ago, the Twin Falls County Commissioners noticed that planning and zoning fees weren't keeping up with the county's costs.

Today, the commissioners approved fee increases that will bring them one step closer to meeting the actual costs.

Commissioner Tom Mikesell says, that developers and landowners receive the benefits of zoning changes, so they should pay for the improvements, instead of the 68 thousand other taxpayers in Twin Falls County.
