Xavier Officials Meet With School Commission

By Paul Johnson

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The Xavier charter school met with the Idaho public charter school commission on Tuesday.
Xavier received a notice of defect in September after failing to demonstrate financial stability.
The main concern the commission has had with Xavier’s financial stability includes their ability to pay rent for the school building.
Xavier school officials did negotiate a cap on the lease for their building.
The lease now has a cap of $450,000 for the remaining fiscal year.
The charter school commission did not take action in the meeting on Tuesday.
School officials will go back for a meeting on February 14th to present the commission with a long term lease and financial update.
