Buhl and Jerome Water Users Asked To Leave Water Running To Prevent Freezing Pipes
Buhl/Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Freezing Pipes have been a big problem for Buhl water customers. That’s according to Alyce Wolf with the Public Works Department for the city. While the area is blanketed with colder temperatures the city is asking residents and businesses to leave their water running “the size of a pencil” to prevent their meters and water lines from freezing. The city said this will help prevent damage to your property and the city’s property.
The city of Jerome has also issued a similar reminder. In a e-mail to area residents reads. "It is very cold outside and your water pipes can freeze. You can prevent freezing by letting the faucet drip or trickle. This keeps the water moving through the pipes to prevent them from freezing." Comments ( Most Viewed |
