A local professor is leading a walking tour of historical homes and buildings in downtown Twin Falls this weekend.

Russ Tremayne, the history professor at the College Of Southern Idaho will be touring various historic residences including some that are listed on the national register.

As a guide, Tremayne hopes to sell the history of Twin Falls to the participants and compare it to regional and national history.

Tremayne says, "We go by some very fancy homes, interesting stories, people, and buildings, walk by the business district, downtown and see some of the old churches and businesses."

The tour will begin at 5:30pm on Saturday.
