Weather Keeps Authorities Busy Today
Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Law enforcement officers and rescue personnel were kept busy today with snow and Ice covered roads resulting in many traffic accidents. Scanner traffic indicates that there were accidents all across southern Idaho throughout the day. An accident at 150 East and 100 south about 2:12 this afternoon sent the one person in the vehicle to the hospital. Authorities say a vehicle driven by Erica Stawn, 39 of Twin Falls, ended up in a lateral canal/ditch. Stawn was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The weather forecast is calling for more snow. KMVT Meteorologist Brian Neudorff said the storm will bring an additional 1 to 3 inches till about midnight tonight. When the sun sets, travelers should be aware that the roads will probably turn very slick. Comments ( Most Viewed
