A tanker accident just south of Wendell blocked a highway on-ramp for much of this morning.

Wendell police and Idaho State Patrol officers responded to a whey tanker roll-over around 9:30 this morning.

Law officials say the tanker was attempting to enter the east-bound Interstate-84 on-ramp when the driver lost control and rolled over on its side.

ISP officials are still investigating, but say that either the tanker's brakes failed, or the driver took the turn too fast.

The driver, Octavio Antana-Alcantar, was taken to Gooding County Memorial Hospital and was treated for minor injuries.
