No Major Damages Or Injuries After High Winds Slammed Magic Valley

High winds slammed into the Magic Valley shortly before 7 Tuesday evening.

Winds kicked up a massive dust storm that made driving very difficult as visibility was reduced to less than a quarter mile in many locations.

Several traffic accidents were reported it is not known at this time if they were weather related or not.

One involved 6 vehicles on Highway 93 at milepost 37. Several people were taken to the hospital however their names and conditions are not yet known.

The dust also caused problems for those with respiratory issues.

There were reports that some trees that had blown over. Several power lines went down in scattered areas around the Magic Valley causing a loss of power for some residents.

Also several brush fires were reported.

So far there have been no reports of any major damage.
