Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Twin Falls Police Department say they followed up on a threat toward Canyon Ridge High School . Captain Matt hicks said a teen made a comment about a bomb at the school Wednesday near the end of the school day. The teen was not a student of the school. School officials and the School’s Resource officer were made aware of the comment this morning by another student who overheard it.
Police were notified and went to the home of the teen. They banned the teen from all Twin Falls School District Properties. At this time charges have not been filed but police did turn the case over to the prosecutor’s office. Officials say they didn’t deem the threat to be severe and the school did not close.
