USDA's Rupert Office Will Close At Months End

The US Department Of Agriculture will close down it's rural development office in Rupert at the end of June.

The Rupert staff will relocate to the USDA Service Center in Twin Falls.

Tony Ballestero who serves Cassia and Minidoka counties, will operate out of the Central Idaho Area Office in the 1400 block of fillmore street.

The move is part of a nationwide effort to reduce costs and streamline services.
