Interstate 84 Boise to Mountain Home Closed This Morning Due To Ice
Mountain Home-Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - One solid sheet of ice. That’s how portions of Interstate 84 are being described by a snow plow driver this morning. The Idaho State police have issued a warning about roads between Mountain Home and Boise. Police say that because of winter weather conditions, I-84 is currently blocked eastbound from Eisenman Road, Exit 59 to West Mountain Home to Exit 90. Listening to scanner traffic indicates there are several accidents including roll-overs. Authorities are encouraging motorists to use extra caution when driving due to icy roads and winter weather conditions. Police are currently on the scene of many crashes and slide-off’s between Boise and Mountain Home.
