19th year for Thousand Springs Festival
HAGERMAN, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Sunday marked the final day of the Thousand Springs Festival down at Hagerman's Ritter Island.
For 19 years, the festival has brought together artisans and vendors from all over the state. And it wasn't just buying and selling art. Businesses took this opportunity to market their products. From kayak rides to horse drawn carriages, there was a little bit of everything. Julie Pence, Executive Director for Southern Idaho Land Trust says, "well it's a community event in probably the most beautiful place in the Magic Valley. People can take horse back rides around the island, they can go canoeing. They have what I think is some of the best art work in southern Idaho all here in one place." The festival wrapped up Sunday evening but planning for next year's event will start shortly. Comments ( |
