Twin Falls Man Arrested for Hitting Police Officer

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Police in Boise arrested a 26 year old Twin Falls resident over the weekend charging him with punching an officer, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Boise authorities say they saw Juan D. Saldivar strike another man in the face in the 600 block of West Main Street early Sunday Morning at about 2 a.m. When the police attempted to take the suspect into custody, he physically resisted arrest and at one point, punched an officer in the chest according to the police report. Saldivar remains in the custody of the Ada County Jail.
