2011 Disability Advocacy Day
TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT-TV) - Saturday, Twin Falls hosted a disability advocacy workshop to help local residents better understand their Medicaide coverage.
The workshop, which is making its way across the state, made a stop at the Twin Falls Reformed Church this morning. Over 50 residents of the magic valley showed up to listen to guest speakers and to share stories about how Medicaid has impacted their lives. The workshop is designed to help individuals understand how the Medicaid system and the legislative process works. And also show how individuals can advocate on issues of concern themselves. If you couldn't make it to Saturdays workshop and you would like to know more about the Medicaid system in Idaho. Log onto www.medicaidmattersinidaho.com. Comments ( |
