Wendell, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The Magic Valley Dairy Days celebration kicked off this Thursday afternoon over at the Wendell City Park.

For well over 20 years now this 3 day-long bovine celebration has been bringing people into the Hub City from all across the Magic Valley.

On Thursday afternoon, vendors spent the day setting up their booths.

Also the annual carnival started up Thursday night, with all rides only costing a dollar.

On Friday the celebration will continue starting at 1 with vendors and the carnival going all day.

Then at 7, the live music will kick off with a local group called the "Haywire Band".

"And to continue the fun... On Saturday were going to start off with a community breakfast that the Boy Scouts are putting on. That's from 7 to 10. We also have a car show going on, it's one of the best ones around it starts at 7 and goes until 5. And then at 10:30 the Magic Valley Dairy Days Parade will start. Our theme for this year's Dairy Days is "Cows Rock". Were already having a rocking good time so come out and see us."
Said Tracy Fien from the Magic Valley Dairy Days Committee.

After the parade on Saturday the City Park will be open all evening with live entertainment and vendors for everyone.

On average the Annual Dairy Days celebration brings in well over 6,000 people for the 3 day event.

And with the weather predicted to be in the mid to upper 80s all weekend, why not grab your kids and head on over to Wendell to take part in this beloved Magic Valley tradition.
