Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Starting Thursday night and continuing over the next three nights, the smooth sounds of jazz music will fill the Snake River Canyon as part of this year’s Jazz on the Canyon.

The three day event serves as a fundraiser for music education in the area, and at the same time showcases both local and nationally known jazz musicians.

The event which is taking place at Elevation 486 in Twin Falls, features not only some of the best Jazz anywhere but 486 has also opened up their outdoor grill, a beer garden on the canyon rim and is offering some of the best Bar-B-que specials available.

The festival will wrap up Saturday with family day.

That will run from noon to around 8 in the evening, and will feature such musicians as the 3B Sides, Jeff Baker, Wellstone Conspiracy and Jim Mair.

Tickets for that are $15, and again all the money raised will go to help support music education in the Magic Valley.
