Jerome, Idaho (KMVT-TV) The annual Jerome County Fair kicked off this afternoon with a full five days of fun in the sun for the entire family.

Starting Monday and continuing until Saturday, the 2012 Jerome County Fair has everything you could want from your yearly fair adventure.

This year's fair features the classic county fair expericane that you're used to… including much more.

The fair features a record number of vendors along with live music, hypnotists, good food and carnival rides.

On Monday, the annual parade got under way with over 70 entries and hundreds of spectators gathering along Main Street.

And one event that has grown into the ultimate fan favorite also kicked off Monday night with the annual Pig Wrestling Competition out at DePew Arena.

And that's just day one of this year’s fun…

“The fair is going to be huge this year! We have more vendors than ever. We have Richard Barker, who is a hypnotist; we haven’t had a hypnotist at the fair in over 7 years. We have a concert with Jason Lugo on Friday and Saturday night after the performance. We have P.R.C.A. Rodeo Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And we have Demo-Derby wrapping up the fair on Saturday night.”

The fair is free to all general admission and parking will only set you back 2 bucks.
