2012 Paint Magic Valley Wraps Up This Week
Magic Valley, Idaho (KMVT-TV) - The 2012 Paint Magic Valley Campaign wrapped up Friday afternoon, but not after a few of the homes got some minor finishing touches.
Since 1986 Paint Magic Valley has been working to help fix up local homes that are in need of a little T.L.C. And since then they have worked on an outstanding 598 different homes. This year Paint Magic hit 23 homes in 8 different Southern Idaho Cities. And over the years the projects have seem to grow larger and larger. This year one disabled Buhl woman got the help she needed when crews told her that they would not only be painting her house but would also install a brand new handicap accessible ramp onto her home. “It’s overwhelming, umm… so very grateful. I’ve had a lot of… a lot of trail in my life and for them to come together and do this… I feel very blessed.” Said Amanda Fomichev, recipient of the 2012 Paint Magic Valley. Saturday all of the crews that took part in this year Paint Magic are invited to come over to the Twin Falls City Park and take part in the annual Wrap–up Picnic. Along with a barbeque, pictures will be on display showing just how much of an impact this program has on the lives of these Southern Idaho residents. Comments ( Most Viewed |
