New Traffic Light Scheduled To Be Installed For Twin Falls

By Paul Johnson

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Twin Falls City Council approved a request to install a new traffic signal at one of the city's busiest intersections.
The intersection of focus is the corner of North College road and Fillmore street north.
Currently, the intersection is a two way stop with signs only on Fillmore.
The new light will ease traffic congestion and reduce the number of near miss accidents.
Work on the signal should start sometime later this summer.
Officials expect the signal to be completely installed before the end of this year.
