Glenns Ferry, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Crews from the Bureau of Land Management, the King Hill and Mountain Home Rural districts all worked to control a fire that started Tuesday. Mallory Eils with the BLM said the fire burned about 400 acres of brush and native grasses just off the east side of Interstate 84. The blaze was reported from Milepost 115 to 119, just west of Glenns Ferry. It started Tuesday when the winds caused a power line to arch. BLM crews were able to contain the fire at 9am this morning and it’s expected to be controlled late this evening or early tomorrow morning. When a fire is controlled, it means that crews feel comfortable leaving the scene.
