DEQ Awards Grant To Jerome

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality said today they are awarding the city of Jerome a $45,000 drinking water planning grant. The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water facility planning study. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the current drinking water system and distribution system to identify alternatives for needed improvements.
The total eligible cost of the project is $90,000. The remaining $45,000 will be funded by the city of Jerome.
