Roadwork near Ketchum Will Cause Delays
Ketchum, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) – If your travels include Highway 75 near Ketchum, you will want to know this information. Installation of underground pipe will require a detour of southbound Idaho 75 traffic onto Hospital Drive beginning as soon as Monday.
According to the Idaho Transportation Department, crews are excavating for an underground stormwater retention pond at the former Dean’s Tire location, and work is moving to the center of the road to install the manholes and pipe system. The southbound lane between the north and south access points of Hospital Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day for the project.
Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Hospital Drive from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and flaggers will be stationed at the Hospital stop sign and at the traffic signal to regulate traffic movement. Northbound traffic will not be affected during the detour.
Southbound traffic will be returned to the highway before the afternoon commute each day. The pipe installation is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
